Paul Krugman visited the OECD on 5 June, 2001 on his way back
from the 25th anniversary of his time as a Bank of Portugal consultant
(which is when we first met). The topic of his
talk was The return of the return of depression economics and Room
C in the OECD headquarters was standing room only. The Secretary General
